The purpose of this centre is to have a place that stocks a wide variety of books on Nigeria and Africa as a whole. The documentation centre has a bookstore and a contemporary section with current journals, articles and newspapers from all over the world. The information Centre boasts of an Information technology area that has flat screen computers with wireless internet facilities for our members and visitors. |
Gallery
Our gallery will showcase the best of Nigerian Art. Different themes and topics will be explored on a regular basis. The gallery will work simultaneously with the multi purpose hall to organise exhibitions and excursions for school children, foreigners, Nigerians, etc. These exhibitions will be held on a scheduled basis. |
Multi-purpose Hall
This
250-seater Hall is designed to serve as a venue for the promotion of Nigerian Arts and culture. It will give preference at subsidised rates to artists and art related causes. It will also serve as a venue (on a rental basis) for seminars, workshops and any other project with intellectual content. |
Languages
The
Centre is committed in ensuring that Nigerian languages be passed on
from generation to generation and made popular at home and abroad.
At present, our focus is on the three widely spoken languages
namely: Ibo, Yoruba and Hausa. English language will be added at a
later stage. Applications for the Language schools and the different levels, as well as any other enquiries can be obtained at the centre or at our site
www.terrakulture.com. Accreditation shall be given to students after completion of each level. |
Kulture Klub
This club is dedicated to the promotion of crafts and traditional skills which would include tie and dye making, pottery, mat weaving, batik making, etc. |
Restaurant
A modern and sophisticated Restaurant with African decor and cuisine, this will serve as a venue to sample the best of Nigerian food and snacks
